Counselling offers a safe and confidential space to explore problems. It can help
you with stuck patterns of behaviour, past issues, low self-esteem, anxiety and
depression. Identify choices for change and get support during the process of change.
Counselling can help you cut down or stop gambling by examining urges to gamble,
strategies for avoiding temptation and ideas for managing your money. Understand
the problem and gradually master it so that you can lead a more fulfilling lifestyle, feel better about yourself, share better relationships, and enjoy financial stability.
We are experienced counsellors who are trained specialists in working with problem
gambling. Whether you gamble yourself, or are adversely affected by the gambling
of a family member or friend, Breakeven can help you.
The service we offer is completely free.
Breakeven offers counselling in a range of locations across the southeast of the
United Kingdom. We currently have regional centres in Brighton, Eastbourne, Maidstone, Colchester, Chelmsford,
Newmarket and Skegness, and we see clients from all over Sussex, Kent, Surrey, Essex,
Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire.
We can offer you a series of counselling sessions at a time to suit you. We have
both male and female counsellors, all of whom are trained by GamCare.
Our service is completely confidential. We abide by the British Association for
Counselling and Psychotherapy Code of Ethics and Practice.
Breakeven is pleased to be a counselling partner of GamCare. GamCare is a national
organization providing support, information and advice to anyone suffering through
a gambling problem. GamCare trains experienced counsellors at agencies such as Breakeven,
all across the UK.
We understand that it's not always easy to take the first step, so let's make it
as easy as possible. To begin the process, all you need to do is get in touch.
We offer you an initial assessment appointment with one of our experienced counsellors.
Like the rest of our service, this is free.
At your assessment we will discuss your situation with you and suggest ways in which
you might begin to address your problem. We can then offer you a series of counselling
sessions which can be arranged for a regular time and location to suit you.
You can apply online, or contact us by telephone or email
if you prefer.
